Artist Statement

My current body of work centers around still life drawings in black and white, using charcoal as my primary medium. I’m drawn to the quiet beauty of ordinary objects—the way they sit in silence, casting shadows, holding stories. Working in monochrome allows me to focus deeply on light, form, and negative space. Each drawing is an attempt to observe the unnoticed details that often go ignored. Through stillness and restraint, I aim to create a sense of reflection and depth in my work.
