Imran Zaib is a seasoned Pakistani artist, born in Karachi, whose career in illustration and visual arts spans over three decades. A graduate with a deep passion for the visual arts, Imran began his professional journey in 1988, contributing detailed and expressive illustrations to a range of prominent magazines, most notably Akhbar-e-Jehan. His work became widely recognized for its emotional depth and stylistic versatility.
A pivotal influence in Imran’s artistic development was his mentor, the renowned artist Inam Raja, under whose guidance he honed his understanding of various artistic techniques and concepts. This mentorship played a significant role in shaping Imran’s unique artistic identity.
Over the years, Imran Zaib’s work transcended the pages of print media to reach broader audiences through solo exhibitions. He has held three solo art exhibitions, including two in the United States, showcasing his rich visual language to international audiences and earning appreciation for his thoughtful, culturally resonant compositions. - Artist Statement
I am versatile Pakistani artist, with a career spanning over 35 years. While exploring various mediums and styles, I have established myself as a versatile artist. From 1988 I have been actively contributing great to the art world.
My artistic repertoire includes oil painting, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, and pen and ink. I study and learn every aspect, technique, style, color etc from some of my favorite masters, Degas, Cezanne, Monet, Renoir, Rubens and from my mentor Inam Raja.
My work varies from traditional to modern contemporary art, showcasing my adaptability and creativity. I successfully experimented with different techniques, resulting in a unique blend of traditional and modern elements in my art.
My art often reflects observations of everyday life, nature, and human experiences. I use vibrant colors and bold brushstrokes that creates a visually striking effect, engaging viewers and inviting them to explore the depths of my art.
My dedication to my craft and my passion for experimentation have made me a prominent figure in the Pakistani art scene Alhumdulillah. My contributions to the world of art continue to inspire and influence emerging artists, ensuring a lasting legacy Insha Allah.
