Ajab Khan was born in 1964 in Dera Ismail Khan, Pakistan. A self-taught visual artist, his journey into art began at a young age. As a child, he would use fabric dyes to color his family’s black-and-white photographs—a creative spark that ignited his lifelong passion for art. He received formal training under the mentorship of renowned Pakistani artist Iqbal Shahid. Although he pursued a Master’s degree in Urdu literature, his heart remained deeply rooted in painting.
